Speaker 1:

Hey, good morning Las Vegas. Thanks for coming back and joining us here on Vegas Realty. Check your local Las Vegas real estate news show. This is our community spotlight. I'm Trish Williams.

Speaker 2:

I'm Tiana Carroll and you are right, we are in our community spotlight, which is kind of exciting. We do a lot of stuff. If you've turned into our channel before, you know that we do a lot of things on mindset and really getting your head right to get through the day. But today in our community spotlight, we have a guest here who's going to help us get our body right.

Speaker 1:

Oh, I love that, let's get. Let's get that right, let's get into it to help. Yeah, new health.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I don't like the new year new me thing that's going around. I like the new year better me. That is happening. I love that. Yeah, it's all about mindset, right? Yes, good, yeah, yeah. But before you do that, we do have to talk real estate, since this is a real estate podcast. So let's go ahead and talk about some numbers before we kick off our New Year's resolutions and build our body.

Speaker 1:

Yes, before we introduce Orlando and Orlando. Thank you for coming here, thank you for coming. Mr. Orlando Sunches and stand by as we talk real estate and it will be getting into it. Please hold so this week for a single family inventory still covering around that same number. We're right after 3500. We are at 3439 for the week. Yep, how many did we sell?

Speaker 2:

last week Just under 300. 296 homes sold. That was a lot to get out in the morning. 296 sold homes last week.

Speaker 1:

Our price decreases ticked up about 100. They did.

Speaker 2:

They did. I was looking at that too. I even had to go in and check to see if there was any substantial differences Most of them like always or not, but there was a few that had 3 and 5% reducing. That was kind of cool.

Speaker 1:

I think what's going on is everybody seeing the market uptick because, gosh, it's upticking Right. It is getting crazy. For some of us it's upticking other than others.

Speaker 2:

if you don't know, if you don't follow Ms Trish Williams on social media, she is having one hell of a January. Is that fair to say?

Speaker 1:

It is fair to say January has been like a year Right.

Speaker 2:

It has been a crazy January for you. You are swimming in contracts right now.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I love that, thank you, thank you, but it has been. I have not had a day off since New Year's.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, well, that's okay. I have had 2023 off.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's true. These are facts, so I am not upset about it. Yes, but the market is picking up and people are starting to see that there's a lot of activity. We're seeing multiple offers again, yeah, and I think that the people that are doing the price reductions right now are the people that aren't on the boat already and they know that they need to adjust to get on it.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, no, I have to agree with that. I think it's pretty typical. You know how we talk about things a two or three months before it actually hits mainstream media. Yeah Well, mainstream media was shouting from the rooftops yesterday that interest rates are coming down in 2024, jump on the bandwagon and buy before prices go up with that competitive market that they are anticipating us having. Yes, and then you know. But I did see an article and I don't know if you saw this. They were talking about the sort of manipulation of advertising for realtors. They were saying how realtors are always positive and they're always saying like the best time to buy is now.

Speaker 3:

It's always the best time to buy is now.

Speaker 2:

Now's the time. Go ahead, get it, now's the time. But they were saying that instead of advertising list price, now they're advertising payment amount, because it's easier for the consumer to wrap their head around the idea of a payment versus the idea of purchasing the home.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I get that and I get that kind of advertising, I guess. But, like you know, I mean it's not like the buyer's not going to know the price of the home, I mean it's right there on the contract.

Speaker 2:

Right, right. And not only that, but the payment isn't the same for everybody, no Right?

Speaker 1:

Depends on what you're putting down, right?

Speaker 2:

What you put down, what your interest rate is. You know that. All is consideration, so, but that is the thing that they were saying that they are being a little tricky in the real estate world, only advertising the monthly payment. But if we're being honest, the monthly payment is the most important part of buying a home for a good percentage of people.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, no, that's because if you're spending that monthly payment on rent and you can spend that on purchasing your own home, it definitely makes sense. Yeah, so yeah, I think that's you know news. They always like to beat up on realtors so I don't listen to them.

Speaker 2:

Well, they were pretty positive in this particular article because they were saying how clever realtors were for going down that road. But I was thinking with our listings we sort of have that auto filled and stuff anyway well what the payment to price would be or could be. So I didn't realize it was anything new in the advertising. I thought it was pretty standard.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I think it's been around for a while, same Trying to find stuff to report on. Anything will do, anything will do, and the so. With the increased activity and the increased buyer activity that we are already seeing, we're starting to see some multiple offers, which means concessions are starting to go away, especially in the entry level pricing. Yeah, so we're seeing movement on that. I'm even seeing builders start to take back concessions which they were offering quite substantially.

Speaker 1:

Now they're starting to pull back on those, so we're getting a little less of that, and it is a pretty much a fact that prices are probably going to go up this year.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah, Now, that's what everything for the past two or three weeks have been is the market's going to get hot, the market's going to increase, the prices are going to go up. There's going to be a bidding war. Jump in the market now, before interest rates go up.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, because once I feel like once that happens again, then the Fed might feel like they need to intervene and raise the rates again. So who knows how long we'll be on that roller coaster?

Speaker 2:

Yeah and then you know when you're moving into an election year. Everything's sort of a little volatile anyway.

Speaker 1:

Yes, absolutely. And yeah, those smear campaigns are going to be coming out very soon. Look forward to that. Yay, so 708 under contract 708 under contract.

Speaker 2:

That's a good number. That's a good number. It was fat and sassy this morning. I said yeah, we'll take that.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, very healthy, yeah, so 700 of those.

Speaker 2:

Are those yours that are in contract? I'll take 700 of those. Are those all yours? Because it feels like everything that went in contract this week was yours.

Speaker 1:

Oh my gosh, it's been a crazy month. I swear January's felt like forever. Yeah, no, it's good, but I'm very happy.

Speaker 2:

Yes, very, very happy. You do have a community announcement, since we are doing our community spotlight show today. You do have a community announcement for us. What do you?

Speaker 1:

got. Thank you for reminding me.

Speaker 2:

No worries.

Speaker 1:

There. So I'm not sure if everybody across the valley remembers hearing about this, but on there was a carjacking that happened around a couple days after Christmas of a local here in Las Vegas. His name was Jerry Lopez. He was killed in a tragic carjacking situation and left behind a wife and seven children. Yeah, so, needless to say, they are definitely in despair and having some struggles and the composer's room, which is a new place that is over in like Sahara Maryland Parkway area.

Speaker 2:

Right between Paradise and Maryland Parkway office Sahara Commercial center.

Speaker 1:

Commercial center, which they still call that.

Speaker 2:

I don't know if it's still called commercial center. They've been doing so much rehab. I know there's a steakhouse going in there. The composer's rooms opened up. We've been there a couple times.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, never together, but we've both been there. Beautiful, beautiful place.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, Great place for live music, two different little rooms for venue and they're doing a fundraiser. Tell us about that.

Speaker 1:

So they're doing a fundraiser, they're offering a $10 spaghetti dinner, which is such a great deal you guys, you can't even get McDonald's for that?

Speaker 2:

And who wants to eat McDonald's? Our personal trainer is going to tell us how bad that is for you, right?

Speaker 1:

So they're doing a $10 dinner. It includes a drink and all of the money that they make that night at the bar for the food, everything that they make that night they're going to donate to the Lopez family, which is so great, incredibly generous. Please come out there and you can go onto the composer's room website and purchase these tickets ahead of time if you want, and there's also a spot on the website if you want to make an additional donation to the family.

Speaker 2:

So, yeah, yeah, so, even if you can't come out February 1st to the composer's room it starts at six, I believe is that right, february 1st at six. February 1st at six, if you can't come out to the composer's room for that, you can make a donation online. Yes, yes and.

Speaker 2:

I know we have such a generous spirit in this valley. We are Vegas strong and we do support the community and I love that about Vegas. So you know, if you can check out that composer's room website and make that donation, get your tickets for the spaghetti social. Let's come out and help a family.

Speaker 1:

Yes, absolutely, people come together Vegas, yay.

Speaker 2:

So so Orlando, let's talk about you, hey now that we got all the laundry out of the way, we get to welcome our guest. He is from Invictus bodies, is that right, correct? And this is Orlando Sanchez, with the Z, with the.

Speaker 3:

Z.

Speaker 1:

And Orlando is a personal trainer here in the valley. He's new to the valley, yes, I am Welcome to Vegas.

Speaker 3:

Fourth month in. Thank you, yeah.

Speaker 2:

I came in in September. Yes, yeah but you've been looking at Vegas for a while.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, for some time. Yeah, Finally dipped into it and did it. Yeah, you glad you're here, I'm glad yes everything's coming from California.

Speaker 1:

Are you like all the other Californians, like this is so great here the traffic is way better.

Speaker 3:

I know the locals complain about the traffic, but for me it's just. I'm not complaining about it, it's awesome.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, food is better here. Oh yeah, yeah, we have great food.

Speaker 2:

We have great food. See, that's the biggest. It's hard to travel.

Speaker 1:

That's good for a personal trainer right, I guess.

Speaker 2:

So yes, we indulge and I'm like, okay, there's extra 15 holiday.

Speaker 3:

There's a good balance. You know there's a good balance.

Speaker 1:

Yes, so so you were a personal trainer before in California. Yes, so you've moved your business over here? Yeah, tell us about what you do.

Speaker 3:

What I do is I'm mainly focused with a lot of so there's a lot of different styles of training, so mainly what I focus on is string training and fat loss training. That's what I mainly do. Okay, there's different avenues that you could take it, but that's mainly what I do. And I do work with other individuals, but mainly that's my niche, you would say.

Speaker 1:

Okay, and I have a friend that's working with you right now, so she's very happy and pleased, so I'm glad. I'm glad that she is, that you have the ability to work with her, so so let's go into. What part should we go into right now? I want to go into fat training, fat training, your fat, what do?

Speaker 2:

you train your fat to do. Let's talk about that. All right so strength training and fat reduction. Okay, there we go.

Speaker 1:

I just mixed it all up together. She's training your fat. Yes, definitely so. So what? What would be like a course if someone were to contact you and they were going to say like, hey, I really need to work on weight loss?

Speaker 3:

right.

Speaker 1:

What, what kind of things would you start with them?

Speaker 3:

So mainly what I do there's a lot of trainers out there that they have their different styles of training. For me, what I do is mainly I focus on first is getting used to getting to another diet, so one. They need to know their diet. I can't just give them, let's say, I know you probably heard like just jump on a meal plan, jump doing a keto diet or Palaeo, whatever it is. They go from this extreme to another extreme. My approach is more like a sustainable approach, slower, but it's more long term success versus short term success. That's why you see a lot of people that you know they usually lose 30, 50 pounds right away and then they gain it all back, if not worse. It's because they do that short term, shortcut approach. But my approach is more that long term. So, getting to another diet, um, then also learning movements, um, so learning form, how to execute movements, and then from there everything just is just moving. You know that's how we pretty much start.

Speaker 1:

Right, yeah, so getting to another diet. So instead of like just incorporating a whole new meal plan and like, hey, change your whole lifestyle and start eating this and just keep doing that forever, like yeah, that's hard. Cause you have things that you like and things that you're used to.

Speaker 2:

Right.

Speaker 1:

So it's more taking what they're currently doing and eating and consuming and kind of making adjustments in it.

Speaker 3:

Yes, definitely so, uh like, so they just get used to what they're eating, you know, if they're, it's kind of weird. A lot of trainers don't do this, but for me, like I said, long-term success. Um, so let's say you're drinking five diet coke, five cokes a day. Right, I'd say cut down at first to four, then three, then two, then one and then maybe try diet coke, you know, cause it's zero calories.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 3:

But overall you have to see what works for you.

Speaker 1:

Right.

Speaker 3:

So that's pretty much what it is Like just knowing what to eat and still balance foods you like.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, cause it's not really realistic, I guess, to say if you are drinking five cokes a day, stop tomorrow. And yeah, if it was that easy.

Speaker 3:

There are people that drink a lot of cokes every day and, yeah, it's pretty insane.

Speaker 1:

It. You don't realize how much of an addiction it is. Like I was raised in a household where, like we just had sodas in the refrigerator all the time. That was like you know. I mean I was raised, I was born, you know, a while ago, but we I was born in Chicago uh, bottled waters when I was a kid, you know so like water wasn't bottled and like no one. No one wanted to drink water, but it was less.

Speaker 2:

It was out of a garden hose, then it was okay.

Speaker 1:

Yeah. So, like you know, it's just a different lifestyle. But we always had sodas in the fridge and you know, somewhere in my like early twenties I was like, okay, this is bad for me, I'm going to cut it out. Yeah, and yeah, a lot easier said than done. I didn't even realize to like try cutting it out and I eventually did like I rarely ever drink sodas now, but I didn't realize until like that point how addictive it actually was. Like I was craving it.

Speaker 3:

And during the moment you don't know. But then, after you look back at yourself and I don't, I can't believe I did that.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah. There was a time where I was buying cases of soda from Sam's club and it's been years since I've actually purchased soda for my house, for myself. Now I did have workers over at the house in the beginning of January and they wanted sodas and they were plowing through Coke Like it was nobody's business and to me as somebody who doesn't drink soda, I was like, wow, that is a lot.

Speaker 2:

I mean like six pack after six, pack after six pack of these bottles of Coke, I was like, okay, this is how they live in. Wow.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, my son calls them entertainment drinks because I only purchased sodas at the house when we have people over. So he says are we getting entertainment drinks?

Speaker 2:

Yes, so uh, so we know that obviously sodas are bad. And I've heard that abs start in the kitchen. That's my thing, that's one of my two favorite fitness sayings I'm starting the kitchen. And then I also love from a mountain biker friend of mine who said Hills hurt but couches kill. And those two things make total sense to me Abster in the kitchen and Hills hurt. Right Hills hurt and couches kill because training hurts too.

Speaker 3:

but right, Couches do kill.

Speaker 2:

Right, but sitting around all day doing nothing is terrible for your body. Every part of your body, your brain, your circulatory system, everything.

Speaker 1:

So so is that more getting into talking about that strength training?

Speaker 3:

Is that yes, okay it goes kind of hand in hand. So a lot of people they, um, they come to me, they say I want to lose weight, Um, and I want to tone up. That's the, that's the main thing they say, right, the main goal for every woman.

Speaker 1:

Right this way get a six pack.

Speaker 2:

Hey, I'm not asking for a lot. I just want to walk out of here like JLo after one workout. Is that cool? Can we do that? Yeah, possibly, maybe.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, but that's pretty much, um, what it is. It goes hand in hand. Just because, um, strength training correlates to muscle growth and that toning feeling A lot of women are scared to. You know, touch the weights, you know, lift heavy weights, all that stuff, right? Um, you're not going to look like a bodybuilder. Yeah, like me looking me, having tried to look like one and I'm still not, there it's been years and years, but uh, yeah.

Speaker 3:

So the weights are really good for you. You gain muscle. Um, when you gain muscle, you're going to get that toned look and then losing weight essentially what their meaning is losing the fat off.

Speaker 1:

Losing the body fat. So do you. I hope this isn't a silly statement, but do you replace body fat with muscle? No and yes, okay.

Speaker 3:

It's kind of um it's. I can get into the whole thing, but to simplify it, uh, you can lose fat, burn it off and then you can gain muscle.

Speaker 1:

Okay, yeah, well, I think I've heard that before too Like when you're like, when you're doing like strength training, lifting weights, things like that, like on the scale, it may look like you're gaining weight, but it's muscle that you're gaining.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, so I have those clients as well. We keep track, like progress pictures and also, like you said, the weight. So if they're, let's say, their weight is 200 pounds, they're at 202. They're scared, oh my God. But that's why we take progress pictures, just to see and you can see, like the little definition here and there that's more than likely muscle.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's what they're saying. So that's happened to me. There was a time in my life where I was lighter than I am now, but I wore a bigger size. It was just a sloppier version of myself. And then everything sort of tightened up and I got some muscle definition. But I do weigh like 15 pounds more than my heaviest point, but I'm a smaller size, so I'm gonna take that as a win. You gain muscle and then when you gain muscle, that also boosts your metabolism. Essentially yes so oh, I know that.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, so the more muscle you have, the more calories you burn at rest. So, like right now, you could be burning more calories than the average person if you have more muscle.

Speaker 1:

Muscle up Strength training yeah, straight muscle.

Speaker 3:

It's like big muscles and they're super big. It's not that.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah that's, I think like like a tanning bed that takes a lot of work.

Speaker 2:

Bodybuilder effects. Yeah, yeah you won't get there.

Speaker 3:

But yeah, if you really want to, you can, but it's a lot of work.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so when you take on a new client, like, how do you have like a time frame, do you have like a goal plan? What do you usually do with them?

Speaker 3:

So I usually go through a consultation just a series of questions and what their pain points are. Whatever it is, it just depends what the client really wants. So if they say they want to lose 30 pounds, 50 pounds, they just have to be realistic. I'm not one to tell you yeah, you'll lose it in one month, two weeks. You know you could do that, but it's not sustainable.

Speaker 2:

So we're healthy, yeah, I give them.

Speaker 3:

If you're doing everything correctly, you're eating, your eating correctly. You're looking at six to 12 months let's just say, you know, just long term success. So the goal is for you to get a sorry, shed the weight and then keep the weight off, not come back.

Speaker 1:

Yeah. So instead of like taking on like a drastic, like I guess you would call, is that what you call like a crash diet?

Speaker 3:

plan right yeah.

Speaker 1:

Like, instead of taking on like this drastic plan, you're gradually changing your lifestyle. And they say that if you do anything for longer than 62 days, it becomes a habit. Is that that?

Speaker 3:

I think it was 28 days of habit, and then there's other days for something else, but yeah, so, like you're creating new habits, new, more sustainable and healthy habits for your lifestyle. So, if you think about it, you've been eating this way or not training for, let's say, 30 years. Do you think you can really eliminate all that and do something else completely in one or two days? Be a different person.

Speaker 1:

Well, yeah, when you take on anything, anything new or anything different, it's like, okay, I could do this. I could do this because you're committed.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

But eventually, like after like a month, that commitment will start to fail.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, motivation. Motivation is a good thing to get started, but motivation eventually dies out.

Speaker 2:

Right Only the discipline. So do you then have to be the false sense of motivation for your clients once that initial burnout happens?

Speaker 3:

I guess. Well, I tell them from the start you know great, your motivation is like where I want it to be Everybody in January. Yeah, definitely. Well, the holidays is different too. Yeah, everyone's motivation is like downhill. Yeah, but yeah, that's what, once they lose the motivation, it's just I tell them from the beginning hey, you're going to lose the motivation, but let's use that motivation to kickstart those habits and just have good eating habits and get your training done so by the time you get there it's just like clockwork, You're just doing it, yeah.

Speaker 1:

And then I'm sure once they start building momentum and seeing results, they're happy with the new changes, definitely.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and results can be a little bit addictive, right have you seen that with your clients.

Speaker 3:

Yes, definitely, even with myself.

Speaker 2:

And me too.

Speaker 3:

I see a little bit of change and I'm just it could be just to like your clothes fitting a little bit better. Yeah, I get messages saying hey, I used to wear this dress and now I'm feeling like a lot better. And may not even they might not even see it on the scale or like pictures, but they feel it. Yeah something.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, well, that's another beauty, or another beautiful thing about working out, and the advantage is it literally changes your brain makeup, the chemistry in your mind. Yeah, it gives yourself a steam right, right, and you feel better after you sleep better, and even if it's minute changes, your brain is like you're doing good, yeah.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, what I see a lot in clients is Well, a lot of people think that Training is just physical and all that stuff. But what I see the biggest difference in clients is their mindset changes, their, their drive, everything changes. They start doing Things better if that makes sense, or they start Experiencing new things and they're just positive if that makes sense.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, I think it's the just Realizing that there's something that you want to do, that you think's impossible, and when you start to see that you can actually do it, you're like what else can I do?

Speaker 3:

other things yeah.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, if I can do this, I can do, I can do anything. Yeah, yeah, it's, we surprise ourselves. I've, you know, I've been in those situations a few times where it's like, well, you know, I could. I was capable of that.

Speaker 2:

You just have to apply yourself. Yeah, and everybody is capable of it, so much more than they actually believe at the time, so definitely.

Speaker 3:

I've heard somewhere, I believe I forgot what it is, but you have what you're achieving, or what you have achieved. It's only like 10% or 20%. The brain is so much capable of more, oh yeah.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, no, the brain is fascinating. Like I said at the beginning of the show, we usually have mind coaches in here and a lot of people. If you haven't seen the episode, you can go back and check out the coaches corner and we talk about mindset and keeping your mind right and staying focused and being positive and just the power of that positivity, and so it definitely translates Into the physical and it's so much easier to stay positive when you are physically active.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, definitely.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, and I'm sure yeah. Your health affects your brain, it affects your mind, it affects the way you think and self-esteem. I know there was a point, a point where I was like you know it get been gaining a lot of weight and I remember being in a dressing room and had to change sizes, you know, like quite a bit up from where I had used to had been and A size up from where I was at the point at that point, and I cried, I mean.

Speaker 1:

I just I like it was out of that dressing room and cried like it. You know so. Like women, I'm sure men too, but I don't think men as much as women. That affects everything around them. You know it's like. It's like Weight gain and and the way that you feel about your body is very emotional.

Speaker 3:

For a lot of media. You see all these skinny girls, everything just promoted like, oh, the skinny, skinny, skinny. So yeah. That's for girls, for guys not as much.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, I don't know. Check my instagram feed. You might be wrong, sir.

Speaker 1:

Well, for some guys, skinny is a bad thing. You know some guys, for some guys that are, you know, like really skinny, they want to, like, gain weight. They're trying to do. That's how I started.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I used to be very skinny and people call me names. Yeah twig, all that stuff. Yeah, I was tired of it, but before that I was actually very chubby and then I lost. Lost the weight, I was insecure and then I got very skinny. I didn't know what I was doing and I wanted muscle spectrum.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, and still to this day. You sometimes look in the mirror. I'm still like a skinny kid, but I don't think it ever goes away. You just have to be you know, change your mindset a little bit and be like you know what. I've come a long way.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, all right. So, orlando, when you do your personal training you're new to the valley, been here since September Do you work out of specific gyms? Do you go to clients homes? Do you do both? How does that work?

Speaker 3:

So I do business from a gym. Okay, it's called fit club. Okay, las Vegas, you have two locations, ones in summerland, ones in Paradise.

Speaker 1:

Still getting familiar with the places, okay, yeah, you met some of my other clients there. Really, brian, you told me about him, oh no, that was the other gym.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, that's where I work out. Yeah, yes, yeah, he's really, he's awesome.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, that was a small world. Vegas is a small world. It really is. Vegas is a small world.

Speaker 2:

You've only been here a few months.

Speaker 3:

You've already made connections. A lot of people know you, yeah, and I've known people, and they're all connected somehow. Yeah, it's crazy.

Speaker 1:

That is definitely the lifestyle of local. Vegas is like everyone knows everyone, so always be good.

Speaker 2:

Always be good. You don't know who you know that knows. Do not burn bridges because everybody knows everybody. It is a small little big town. Yeah, absolutely.

Speaker 1:

Um so, um so you, you work primarily out of the fit club. Yes, yeah, okay, so I just um.

Speaker 3:

I just pay my rent there and I just do my own business there. I bring my own clients there. That's pretty much it.

Speaker 1:

Okay.

Speaker 3:

That's how, that's where I do my business. I don't do mobile services. I used to do it, but not anymore, also because I'm not familiar with there too much here.

Speaker 2:

I was gonna say you want to learn this town? Do mobile services. Driving this town, you'll learn everything, every place, all the little pockets, the communities.

Speaker 1:

It's kind of awesome, yeah, yeah so if people want to get started and start working on their health, working on their fitness, our strength, training new year, better you. Yeah, better, better you. How do they get started? What do they do?

Speaker 3:

It's honestly it just applying yourself and just saying, instead of lagging on Action, you just need to take action. It doesn't. It doesn't have to be perfect. A lot of people want the perfect recipe. Just tell yourself hey, tomorrow I'm just going to go to the gym, you don't have to hire a personal trainer, you just go and do something, look up something on youtube, whatever it is, and if you want to hire a personal trainer, then go for it, but just start with that. Just starting with that, maybe stop drinking five diet, five coats a day for Breakfast coke a lunch coke and a dinner coke.

Speaker 1:

I heard a saying once that said um, you know it was talking about how some people feel like they have to, like you know, like you already have to, like be and like have your Commitments in order to, like you know, change your lifestyle, change your diet, everything before you start into training or before you do something. It's like, okay, I'm going to start in this program, but first I need to eat better or something. But the analogy was that you don't, you don't take a or you don't go, you don't clean yourself before you go into the shower.

Speaker 3:

Like, you just have to like jump in you just got to do it.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, you just got to jump in and get started, and that's really the first step on that.

Speaker 3:

Know that you're saying a lot, of, a lot of people that come to me they say I need to not be as busy. I need to, you know, have my children I don't know in daycare, whatever it is, they just need the perfect scenario. Yeah life isn't Perfect. Yeah, life is always crazy, so you just need to Jump into it.

Speaker 2:

Just need to get started, so I didn't know I was going to find correlation between real estate and personal training here. But as you're talking, it sounds like every new agent who joins the business who gets in their own way because they don't want to get in the Act of production, there's always an excuse I can't because of this, or I'll do it later, or this or that, and they don't want to start the business Because of the fear.

Speaker 2:

So, it's got to be the same with starting a training routine or exercising, or just the fear of what's that going to actually look like in my life. Will I have the time? Will I stay committed? You don't want to fail yourself, right.

Speaker 3:

You don't want to fail. But the one thing is, honestly, I see the most successful clients when they're the busiest and they just apply themselves and they take action. It's because if life gets worse then it really won't. But if you're at a bad position already, saying you're busy, you have a lot of work, your kids are going crazy and you're doing, this If life gets easier, then it's just going to be way easier. How much worse can it get, like you already prepared yourself for that.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I am a very Overly busy person and I tend to stay busy, but whenever I take on something new and there's times I take on something new I just I just do it and throw it in the schedule, you know, cause that's the only way I'm going to ever get it done. Because if I wait for to have more time open up on something I'm gonna wanna do, I'll never do it.

Speaker 2:

Yeah definitely yeah, we're all the same, I'm the same way. Yeah, welcome to human nature, that's what it? Is we all do it Well, okay. So when you see personal, when somebody contacts you, did you give the phone number yet? Yes, Okay, so they know how to.
